Juvenile and Protective Services prosecutes all juvenile delinquency and traffic offenses.


  • Teen Drive Wright - is a program designed to help teach teenagers to be better and safer drivers. This class goes beyond drivers education and is used to help first time traffic offenders avoid court and the consequences that come from a traffic offense. The program involves a one time evening class, approximately two hours in length, that both parent and child attend together. Read the Teen Drive Wright Letter to Parents.

Initiates Children in Need of Protection or Services (CHIPS) Petitions to provide services to abused, neglected, mentally ill, or truant children within the county.
