CSAH 3 construction work is planned to begin on Monday, May 8, 2017. Relocation of private utilities (Wright-Hennepin electric, etc.) will likely begin a week or so prior to May 8th and continue concurrently with the highway construction.
It is anticipated that the majority of construction activities will be completed in 2017. Final paving surfacing and minor turf & cleanup work will be done in 2018. The highway will be detoured during construction, although access to local traffic (traffic that must travel on Hwy 3 to access their home) will be maintained by the contractor for the duration of the project.
The Wright County Engineering Division and contractors working on this project appreciate your patience and understanding during the temporary disruption and inconvenience that occurs while the road is being built.
Midwest Contracting, LLC of Marshall, MN is the prime contractor for the project.
