Come learn about the plants, animals, history, geology, hydrology and ecology of Minnesota’s forests and waterways. You will gain valuable tools for exploring the natural world and sharing it with others, and we will spend significant portions of each class outside learning and practicing those skills. One all-day (Thursday) and four short field trips are included in the schedule and will feature Wright County Parks and Lake Maria State Park. Participants will do a group capstone project as teams - project suggestions will be provided. Graduates then volunteer 40 hours each year to remain an active Master Naturalist Volunteer.
