County Moving Forward On History Wall at Justice Center

The summer of 2020 is going to mark the opening of the new Wright County Justice Center and one of the aesthetic aspects of the building that is planned to be incorporated will be an iconic image for those entering the building.

Part of the design is going to include the Wright County History Wall – a large vinyl background and acrylic photos mounted to the wall. It will be located in the main lobby on the ground floor of the Justice Center.

At the Dec. 31 meeting of the Wright County Board of Commissioners, a mockup of what the history wall would look like was presented with renderings that depict Wright County’s past.

In its current form, the history wall will be impressive in its size. The vinyl mural measures 12 feet high and 35 feet long, while the photos range in size from 38 x 28 inches to 48 x 40 inches.

The board is planning to have a discussion group meeting in January to finalize the design of the project, which was created by Karl Jaeger Branding Inc. of Buffalo.
