Great River Regional Library Closes All Branches Through End of March

The Great River Regional Library announced Monday that it had closed all 33 of its branches effective at 6 p.m. Monday, March 16, and will remain closed through the end of the month.

Nine of GRRL’s 33 branches are in Wright County, serving the communities of Annandale, Buffalo, Clearwater, Cokato, Delano, Howard Lake, Monticello, Rockford and St. Michael.

The reason cited on the GRRL website for the systemwide closures is that it is following the social distancing guidelines put forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Minnesota Department of Health.

Due dates and holds of library materials have been extended until Wednesday April 8.
