Many Wright County residents find themselves looking for services from the county’s Auditor/Treasurer’s office and are looking for options with the public counters currently closed. The A/T office has made the following suggestions to help residents with needs to specific issues.
Voter Registration – Voter registration/absentee voting/elections can be done by going online to www.mnvotes.org or calling 763-682-7673.
Property Tax – Property tax payments can be made by visiting https://web.co.wright.mn.us/proptax/ by mail to Auditor/Treasurer, 10 2nd St. NW Room 230, Buffalo, MN 55313 or at the drop box located at the front entrance to the Government Center. If using the mail or drop box option, residents are asked to include an envelope, payment stub and payment (no cash).
Notary – Applying to become a notary can be done online at http://www.co.wright.mn.us/869/Notary.
License Bureau – Vehicle tabs at the License Bureau can be done at the drop box or by mail to Auditor/Treasurer, 10 2nd St. NW Room 16, Buffalo MN 55313. Those mailing or dropping off license tab requests need to include an envelope and a completed tab statement that includes insurance information, an address to mail the tabs back to, a contact phone number and payment (no cash).
It is pointed out that driver’s license renewals can’t be completed at this time because they require a photo being taken and that won’t be possible until the License Bureau opens of a full or limited bass.
