License Bureau Not Accepting Walk-Up Traffic for Driver's License Renewals Today

The Wright County License Bureau announced this morning (Aug. 17) that, due to staffing shortages today, the office won’t be taking any walk-up business inside the Wright County Government Center for driver’s license renewals.

The other aspects of the License Bureau operation will continue as normal. Those with appointments to have their driver’s licenses renewed will be able to have that regularly scheduled service done. In addition, the outside walk-up window for other License Bureau services will also be open, but License Bureau Supervisor Becky Aanerud said those coming to the Government Center should expect a slightly longer wait time than usual due to staffing issues.
