Wright County Public Health has released its weekly COVID-19 dashboard for the period ending Thursday, Aug. 27. For the second consecutive week, Wright County set a one-week high for confirmed cases with 118, bringing the county’s total number of confirmed cases to 1,137.
After seeing a consistent drop in cases during June, the number of confirmed cases increased five straight weeks in July. After showing a drop in the number of new confirmed cases in the first two reports of August (from 96 on the July 30 dashboard report to 87 on Aug. 6 and 71 on Aug. 13), Wright County set a one-week high with 101 new cases in the Aug. 20 report. That was surpassed by this week’s total of confirmed new cases with 118.
