CSAH 39/42 Roundabout in Otsego Now Open to North/South Traffic

The roundabout at CSAH 39 and 42 (Parrish Avenue) in Otsego has re-opened to north-south traffic as of this morning (Aug. 31).

East-west traffic remains closed to through traffic. There remains paving to be done west of Parrish Avenue to Page Avenue that will be done this week. Following that, there will be grading and paving done on the adjacent trail, installing street lights and getting electricity connected to the site. While the roundabout will look largely complete by the end of the week, it is that ancillary work that will take time to complete.

East of the roundabout remains closed because there is a short segment of CSAH 39 that couldn’t be completed until after the roundabout was finished. The west end is open to local traffic only.

While weather can always be a factor in when projects are completed, the plan is to have the remainder of the CSAH 39/42 corridor open by the end of September.
