November 9-15 is National Traffic Incident Response Awareness Week, an educational campaign to remind motorists of the dangers and caution needed to assist first responders on the scene of traffic crashes.
Every minute of every day, emergency responders across the country work to help save lives at the scene of traffic incidents. Too many of these workers have been injured or killed while attempting to help the victims of crashes. The goal of National Traffic Incident Response Awareness Week is to reach out to every responder, every driver and every vehicle passenger to make them aware that every person has a role to play when driving up on an accident that has first responders on the scene.
