The Central Mississippi River Regional Planning Partnership (CMRP) is entering Round 2 of its Framework 2030 Plan and is looking for input from the stakeholders involved in the project.
CMRP is a collaborative effort between Wright and Sherburne counties. With significant growth anticipated in the region over the next several years, CMRP is focused on strategic land use and economic development, as well as attempting to get a river crossing bridge constructed within the next 20 years.
Those interested can complete a survey (https://www.planning-next.com/framework_survey_round2/) to provide input to CMRP to help form the vision and strategies to achieve CMRP’s regional goals, policies and priorities.
CMRP currently includes the cities of Becker, Big Lake and Monticello, as well as Becker, Big Lake, Monticello and Silver Creek townships.
