  1. Children's Dental Services

    August 20, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ Wright County Human Services

    Wright County Public Health is partnering with Children's Dental Services to serve children from birth-21 years and pregnant women of any age. Services available include, but are not limited to, cleaning, fluoride treatment, sealants, fillings, crowns, extractions, X-rays, and dental education. All forms of insurance are accepted and, for those without insurance, a sliding scale program is available. SUID / AHT Training

  1. SUID/AHT (Sudden Unexpected Infant Death and Abusive Head Trauma) Training

    August 20, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Human Services Center

    Please register by calling or emailing Terri Burkhart. If you are not familiar with the training location, please ask for directions and plan extra travel time. Training does not have to be taken in the county in which you are licensed. Registration is required in order to make sure that enough materials and space are available. Payment can be made over the phone. Class fees are non-refundable unless you reschedule. A minimum of 10 participants need to be registered in order to hold class. Class will be canceled one week prior to class if the minimum is not met. There is no admittance to class after 6:05 pm for the evening classes. Note: These trainings are approved on the MNCPD Registry

    Public Health Nurses (RNs) provide health services, education, and numerous community resources. Reduced cost services include: Immunizations to all ages (CALL for pricing and eligibility details), FREE blood pressure checks, Lead-Hemoglobin-Diabetes-Cholesterol screenings, Mantoux tests, FREE pregnancy testing. Also available are child safety seats checks, dental fluoride application, radon test kits, and well testing kits. Education available regarding health concerns, child development, healthy lifestyles, and more.
