Emergency Preparedness - Volunteers
Wright County Public Health is in need of volunteers to respond to potential Public Health emergencies. Depending on the emergency, volunteers will be needed to perform a variety of jobs both medical and non-medical. Examples of non-medical jobs include drivers, traffic controllers, supply managers, educators, interpreters, data entry operators, computer specialists, greeters, and aides. Some job duties require little training, and others require a professional license such as a registered nurse, medical doctor, EMT, paramedic, pharmacist, physician's assistant, or nurse practitioner. Examples of some health care jobs include screeners, medical evaluators, vaccinators/med dispensing workers, triage workers, first aid workers, and mental health workers.
Thank you for your consideration in joining us to help ensure the safety and health of our community. |
