Cross Country Skiing

The Wright County Parks Department offers cross-country skiing at five Ney Trail Winter.jpgdifferent park locations for you to enjoy!

You do not need to purchase a State of Minnesota cross-country ski trail pass to use the trails within the Wright County sysytem. 

Ski rental is available on Saturdays and Sundays during the hours of Noon to 4:00 p.m. (January through mid-March) at Robert Ney Regional Park and Nature Center. click here for list of available sizes.

Winter Walking Trails

The Wright County Parks Department will remove snow from the paved trails at Clearwater/Pleasant Regional Park, Montissippi Regional Park and Otsego Regional Park.  The table below will provide you with information reagrding lastest maintenance of these trails.

Snowshoeing

Snowshoeing is a great way to exercise and get outdoors in the winter. Snowshoes snowshoe.jpgdisperse your weight allowing you to travel through deep snow with less effort. They give you the opportunity to get off the beaten path and experience our beautiful Minnesota winters.  Snowshoe rental are available on Saturdays and Sundays during the hours of Noon to 4:00 p.m. (January thru mid March) at Robert Ney Regional Park and Nature Center.
