MEADA

Methamphetamine has placed a stranglehold on our criminal justice system and Children in Need of Protective Services (CHIPS). It robs your liberty, kidnaps your soul, and holds you prisoner. The County Attorney is proud to have been a founding member in February 2004 of MEADA (Mentorship, Education and Drug Awareness Coalition of Wright County). MEADA was founded to focus on methamphetamine abuse, but since 2004 has moved beyond that to address drug related concerns and mentorship within the communities. Most communities within Wright County now have active MEADA chapters. The County Attorney has been a speaker throughout Wright County at various community MEADA events. MEADA is now addressing other drugs, underage drinking, criminal, and civil liability for hosting underage parties. www.Meada.net
