The Wright County Economic Development Partnership (WCEDP) is happy to announce a newly updated and improved website (https://wrightpartnership.org/).
The new website has completed a major overhaul and provides something for everyone. WCEDP aims to create a healthy and diverse environment for new and existing businesses and to increase job opportunities in Wright County through business development, site selection and promotion, marketing and promoting ALL businesses in the county, assistance with financial packaging, business counseling, networking opportunities, and workforce development.
The Workforce Pathways Initiative has a mission to identify and assist Wright County businesses with their workforce needs to create a long-term vibrant community through education, training, marketing, and collaboration. Wright County companies continue to thrive in a strong economy, but a severe worker shortage overshadows their growth and profitability and hampers their desire to expand.
Growth will come to those companies that understand their employee needs, partner with existing Career Force programs, utilize educational institutions at the High School and Post-Secondary levels and have leveraged the appropriate combination of automation, productivity strategies, effective leadership, team development and strategic planning.
The Workforce Pathways Wheel is an online digital tool that can be accessed from the website that includes a list and link to over 150 employers in Wright County, many of which are hiring for high quality jobs right now. The Wheel also shares valuable information about many important topics like Trades, Healthcare, Utilities, School Districts, Housing and more.
Another new feature is a page targeted toward Site Selectors and anyone looking for quality sites to expand or relocate. The Site Selectors page features over 80 industrial sites throughout Wright County that are currently on the market and information on Shovel Ready Certified properties through the Department of Employment and Economic Development (MNDEED) sites, as well.
The Events page features upcoming events and recording of past events such as the Capacity Building Seminars and Chamber Summits that we have hosted in 2021. Look to this page to see the special events throughout the County including Golf fundraisers, community festivals and the Wright County Fair!
Explore the new website to learn more about the Wright Tech CEO program. Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities (CEO) is a course offered to junior and senior High School students that takes place the Wright Technical Center for those who have an aptitude for entrepreneurialism. The WCEDP will be starting the 7th year of creating a culture for young entrepreneurs that hail from the 9 school districts in the County.
The Live and Visit page has an extensive list of all the vibrant communities within the County and a link to each City and School District as well as a link to the boundless and immense Wright County Parks and Recreation information.
You will be able to access information about all 11 area Chambers of Commerce that the WCEDP partners with, as well as all monthly Newsletters and Social Media posts.
Our Member Directory show a list of businesses that have been supporters of our Mission and ways that you or your business can help support a healthy economy and a higher quality of life for Wright County residents and businesses.
