Wright County Parks & Recreation will be hosting a Backyard Birds event from 1 to 3 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday, July 17) at Schroeder Park Campground in Corinna Township east of Annandale.
More than 400 species of birds are known to live in Minnesota and the Backyard Birds program will teach participants how to identify them and how to bring these birds into your backyard. There will be a half-hour introduction to birds, followed by a mile hike on the trails at Schroeder Park to spot and identify birds. Binoculars will be provided. This program is free and open to all ages.
