As more areas of Minnesota are being placed under significant burning restrictions, the Wright County Parks & Recreation Department is making campers aware that burning in county park campgrounds within the fire rings is still allowed. However, if conditions don’t improve, that may change as the drought continues to worsen in Wright County. Parks & Rec staff are urging campers to take extra precautions with their campfires and make sure they are extinguished before campers go to sleep or leave their campfire area for any extended period of time because with these conditions, it doesn’t take much for fire to spread and get out of control
