Wright County Public Health has released its weekly COVID-19 dashboard. There was a significant spike in new cases over the last seven days, with 758 new cases reported – the most in one week in Wright County since the Dec.10, 2020 dashboard. A total of 26 cases required hospitalization, six required a stay in an Intensive Care Unit and one death was reported. Since the pandemic began, there have been 20,099 confirmed cases, 855 that required hospitalization, 165 that required ICU treatment and 168 deaths.
Over the last nine weeks (Aug. 13 through Oct. 8) the number of weekly cases reported on the Wright County dashboard has shown a steady increase – 132, 204, 274, 340, 364, 415, 447, 473, 758.
