County Board Sets 2022 Committee, Advisory Board Appointments

At today’s (Jan. 18) meeting of the Wright County Board of Commissioners, the board conducted one of its most important jobs of the year – making selections to the 17 committees and 41 advisory boards the commissioners sit on.

The committee structure allows issues to be discussed at a comprehensive level before matters come to the full board – typically with a committee recommendation for action items. Advisory boards are outside agencies that have a common cause in partnering with the county – examples being the Great River Regional Library Board, the Planning Commission, Safe Communities of Wright County and MEADA.

Here are the 2022 committee/advisory board assignments for the county commissioners. Alternate members are listed in parentheses.
