Wright County Public Health has released its weekly COVID-19 dashboard for the period of Jan. 27-Feb. 3.
There were 1,320 new confirmed cases over the last seven days – a slight decrease from the previous week and a hopeful sign that the Omicron variant has reached its peak in the county. In addition, there were 28 cases that required hospitalization, no cases that required treatment in an Intensive Care Unit and six deaths. Since the pandemic began, there have been 34,813 confirmed cases, 1,383 cases that required hospitalization, 241 the required a stay in an ICU and 291 deaths. Since the start of the year, there have been more than 6,000 new cases reported.
