Wright County Public Health has released its weekly COVID-19 dashboard for the period of Feb. 11-17 and the number of cases has dropped significantly in the last two weeks after peaking in January into early February. Last week’s numbers represent the lowest weekly total of new cases since September 2021.
There were 442 new confirmed cases over the last seven days. In addition, there were 12 cases that required hospitalization, one case that required treatment in an Intensive Care Unit and four deaths. Since the pandemic began, there have been 35,883 confirmed cases in Wright County, 1,418 cases that required hospitalization, 243 the required a stay in an ICU and 298 deaths.
