Wright County Public Health has released its weekly COVID-19 dashboard for the period of Feb. 18-24 and the number of cases has once again dropped significantly after peaking in January into early February. Last week’s numbers represent the lowest weekly total of new cases since July 2021.
There were 131 new confirmed cases over the last seven days. In addition, there were 17 cases that required hospitalization, two cases that required treatment in an Intensive Care Unit and one death. Since the pandemic began, there have been 36,014 confirmed cases in Wright County, 1,435 cases that required hospitalization, 245 the required a stay in an ICU and 299 deaths.
