Wright County departments currently in the existing Wright County Government Center in downtown Buffalo will be doing a phased move March 21-30 to the new Government Center at 3650 Braddock Ave. NE north of Buffalo. Below is the expectation of when specific services will be unavailable from these departments:

Health & Human Services – The department will be moving from Friday, March 18 through Tuesday, March 22. The office won’t be completely shut down, but there will be limited service those three business days. Business is expected to be fully open in the new Government Center on Wednesday, March 23.

Front service counter and walkup window will be walk-in only from Monday, March 21 to Tuesday, March 29. The office will be closed Wednesday, March 30 as staff and equipment are moved to the new Government Center. The hope is to have a soft opening for the drive-thru area the afternoon of Thursday, March 31. The anticipation is that both the lobby and drive-thru will be fully open to walk-in traffic Friday, April 1. Appointment scheduling is expected to begin Monday, April 4.

Recorder – The public access area of the office will be closed the week of March 28 to April 1. The office will be closed Tuesday, March 29 and Wednesday, March 30. While the office is closed those two days, the following services will be unavailable – abstractor public records, birth certificates, credential filing, death certificates, property conveyances/divisions/combinations, marriage applications, marriage certificates, marriage licenses, notary registration, notary services, plats and recordings (real estate, military discharges, state tax liens and federal tax liens).
