The Wright County Highway Department has announced that spring load weight restrictions on Wright County highways and roads will take effect at 12:01 a.m. Friday, March 18.
The restrictions are put in place annually to preserve the life of roads, which are at their most vulnerable when frost comes out of the road bed and temperatures go above and below freezing on a consistent basis.
Typically, the restrictions last for approximately eight weeks, which would have the restrictions come off in mid-May.
