A Message from Wright County License Center:
Starting Monday, May 16, the Wright County License Center (3650 Braddock Ave. NE) will be offering the Class D Written Knowledge Exam. The test is offered electronically only and it can be taken in English or Spanish. The License Center offering this service on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays by appointment. There is a $10 fee due at time of exam. Proper identification is also required at time of exam.
The Class D written knowledge exam is needed for new drivers wanting to obtain an Instruction Permit or current drivers transferring their out of state license to Minnesota. No road tests of any type are offered at the Wright County License Center. Additionally, Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) written tests or motorcycle written tests are not offered at our location. Only State Exam Stations offer road tests, CDL tests and motorcycle tests.
