Many Minnesotans have been struggling since the COVID-19 pandemic began, falling behind on mortgages that threaten to lose their homes due to nonpayment.
The Minnesota Department of Housing has a program open called HomeHelpMN that can provide assistance to help with overdue mortgage payments and past due expenses to avoid foreclosures. The application period ends at 5 p.m. Friday, June 17 and homeowners may be eligible for up to $35,000 in assistance.
