The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Advisory for the Twin Cities metro area and a Heat Advisory for much of the eastern part of Minnesota for Tuesday, including Wright County. Air temperatures are expected to be in the mid- to high 90s with heat indices of around 100 degrees are expected.
Those with health conditions who don’t have be outside are advised to stay somewhere cool. For those who have to be outside, they are advised to remain hydrated because heat-related illness can happen quickly.
