In this week’s Wright County Sheriff’s Office Activity Report for the period of June 20-26, (https://www.co.wright.mn.us/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=3446), the charges against Brandon Gardas, who was involved in a 44-hour standoff with law enforcement in which he was alleged to have shot at officers, were made public.
The charges include 1st degree attempted murder on a peace officer, 2nd degree assault, 1st degree criminal damage to property, terroristic threats, felon in possession of a firearm/ammunition, 2nd degree controlled substance, 5th degree controlled substance and a Wright County warrant for a felon in possession of a firearm/ammunition.
