The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory to be in effect from 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2 to 3 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3. Winds are expected out of the northwest with steady winds of 20 to 30 miles per hour with gusts up to 50 mph expected. A total of 24 counties are in this advisory, including Wright County. Gusty winds could blow snow over roadways, take down tree limbs and result in power outages. Those driving during those hours are warned to take extra precautions.
