Tuesday, March 14 is Minnesota Townships Day. Of Wright County’s 17 townships, 15 townships within will be holding Township Board Elections (Albion, Buffalo, Chatham, Cokato, Corinna, Franklin, French Lake, Maple Lake, Marysville, Middleville, Monticello, Rockford, Stockholm, Victor and Woodland). You may view a copy of your sample ballot by following this link. Voting hours may vary, but all participating polling locations will be open from 10 a.m. until polls close at 8 p.m. on the day of the election and all elections/Township Day will be conducted at the township halls with the exception of Stockholm, which will be held at the Stockholm Township Community Center.
If you are unable to make it to the polls on March 14, you may cast an early in-person absentee ballot at the Wright County Government Center. Voting is located on the first floor at the Finance and Taxpayer Services counter. The Taxpayer Services counter will have special voting hours Saturday, March 11 and Monday, March 14. On Saturday, March 11 voting can be done from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Monday, March 14 the counter will remain open to voters from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
