At 11:15 a.m. today (April 13) the National Weather Service issued a Flood Warning for several rivers due the quick snow melt. The warning includes two areas in Wright – the South Fork of the Crow River at Delano affecting Wright and Hennepin counties and the Crow River at Rockford, affecting Wright and Hennepin counties. The flood forecast has changed from Minor to Moderate Severity and will be in effect starting Saturday morning. At 10:15 a.m. today the Crow River at Rockford was at a level of 7.1 feet. The projection is that the river will rise above flood stage Saturday and will crest at 13.5 feet early Tuesday morning.
