The traveling replica of Vietnam Veterans Memorial – called the “Wall That Heals” will make two stops in Minnesota in the next two months, including one in Wright County.
The exhibit is in its 28th year and includes a three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial along with a mobile Education Center. The wall bears the names of the 58,281 American men and women who died during the Vietnam War. The traveling memorial will spend the Memorial Day weekend in Mendota Heights, starting at 2 p.m. today (Friday, May 26) through Monday, May 29. The exhibit is free and will be located at 949 Mendota Heights Road. The event is being hosted by Saint Thomas Academy.
If you can’t see the exhibit this weekend, you will get a second chance in July. The wall is scheduled to be in Monticello from Thursday, July 20 to Sunday, July 23. We will provide an update when the location in Monticello is announced.
