The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency has issued an Air Quality Alert for the southern two thirds of Minnesota (with Wright County in the middle) starting at noon today (June 20) and running through 9 p.m. Thursday (June 22).
The combination of sunny skies, warm temperatures and low humidity will increase the levels of ground-level ozone. This alert is in the Orange designation, which unhealthy for sensitive groups (children, the elderly and those with respiratory conditions). It is advised that outdoor exposure be limited for these groups.
