Today the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources announced that 35 cities in the state received part of $2.4 million in funding to protect urban forests from emerald ash borer, including two cities in Wright County.
Buffalo was awarded $64,160 and Otsego was awarded $25,000 to manage EAB, remove infected trees, treatment for non-neonicotinoid insecticides and tree planting.
