A Message from the Wright County Sheriff’s Office:
At approximately 10:54 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, the Wright County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the intersection of Ochoa Avenue NE and 60th Street NE in the City of St. Michael for a report of an unresponsive adult male lying in the roadway. Upon arrival, first responders attempted life-saving measures but unfortunately the male died at the scene.
The male was identified as Kyle Dixon, age 36, from St. Michael.
It is believed Dixon was possibly walking alone on Ochoa Avenue NE between 9:50 p.m. and 10:50 p.m. that night. It is also believed that Dixon was struck by a motor vehicle and sustained life-threatening injuries.
The Wright County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance from the public with any potential information related to this case. We ask anyone that may know something, saw, or heard anything or may have traveled in that area on Sept. 1, 2023, during that time please contact the Sheriff’s Office tip-line at (763) 682-7733.
Crime Stoppers of Minnesota is also offering a $1,000 for information leading to an arrest of individual(s) involved in causing the injuries to Dixon. This case remains active and is under investigation by the Wright County Sheriff’s Office.
