You should call 911 for police, fire and medical emergencies, to report crimes in progress or that have just occurred.

You should call 763-682-1162 for non-emergencies (to report a crime that is not in progress, or to speak with a deputy about a law enforcement issue). For general questions you can call 763-682-7622

3. What happens if I call 911 from my cell phone?

Calls made from your cellular telephone are now routed directly to the Wright County Sheriff’s Communications Center. At this time, 911 calls from cell phones only provide phone number information, and do not provide caller information such as name and address that is normally provided when a 911 call is made from a land-line telephone.
